Four NFDA awards and seven years ago, our company was recognized for the first time for our efforts to provide innovative solutions to the funeral profession. Since we received our first NFDA Innovation Award in 2012, we have not hit the pause button on our mission to develop the most cutting-edge communication technology for funeral professionals. Our multiple NFDA Innovation Awards give ASD the unique distinction of being the only funeral company to win this award more than once. When ASD received our fourth award in 2018, we knew we had to show our thanks and appreciation to our valued clients for helping to make this possible. Your support helped us to create awareness about our Web Form WatchDog™ feature.
As a Thank You to all of our clients for helping us win the 2018 NFDA Members’ Choice Award (formally known as the Innovation Award), ASD will be hosting our 4th Innovation Appreciation Celebration Client Cocktail Party during the 2019 NFDA Convention. The party will take place from 6:30-8:30p at The Mid-America Club in downtown Chicago. Located on the 80th floor of the AON building, The Mid-America Club is the only club in Chicago with a panoramic view of the city’s distinctive skyline. The club overlooks iconic landmarks such as Navy Pier, Millennium Park and Lake Michigan.
We hope you’ll join us on top of the town for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while enjoying spectacular views of the sun setting over the city skyline. Just a short walk from most of the NFDA Convention host hotels, and directly connected to the Fairmount, the AON Center is conveniently located within the Chicago Loop where many of the Windy City’s most famous attractions are found. The sky-high Mid America Club, located inside a supertall modern skyscraper, is sure to provide the perfect backdrop for directors looking to socialize during the convention.

Established in 2009, the NFDA Innovation Award
is given annually to a
funeral service vendor whose product or service was introduced during the
previous year and exemplifies creativity, innovation and excellence. This award represents the
pinnacle of achievement for a funeral service vendor. While no other
company has received the Innovation Award more than once, ASD has now won four out of the past seven years. This has certainly given us reason to celebrate!

In 2013, ASD held the first Innovation Appreciation Celebration at the NFDA Convention in
Austin, TX. It was an incredible event for all in attendance. After winning the
2015 Innovation Award, the ASD team and Czachor family were eager to recapture
the magic of that night. We held our
2nd Innovation Appreciation Celebration right in our backyard when the NFDA Convention was held in
Philadelphia two years ago. Our clients were treated to flavorful cocktails,
delicious hors d’oeuvres and 360-degree views of Philadelphia from the sky-high
Pyramid Club. Then in 2017, ASD was once again recognized by the NFDA. To thank our clients, we hosted more than 300 funeral professionals last year during our
3rd Innovation Appreciation Celebration at the historic McCune Mansion in Salt Lake City.
This year, we wanted to show our thanks once again to our clients and the funeral service community for helping to spread the word about our Web Form WatchDog™ feature and helping to make this achievement possible. Last month, Family-Member Owner, Kathy Kelley, Sales Office Manager, Stephanie Bradford, and Project Director, Lauren Kress, traveled to Chicago to explore the city’s most amazing party venues. Our team was blown away by what the Windy City had to offer, but no location could compare to the incredible Mid-America Club. Like ASD, it is truly in a class of its own.
