At this year’s convention, ASD plans to host several exciting and interactive events. We hope you will be able to join Team ASD for a Fun Run along the Tampa River Walk on Wednesday morning. We also plan to host several fun dinner activities on Wednesday and Thursday evening during the convention. If you are preregistered to attend the convention, keep an eye out for an email with more information and an official invitation to arrive in your inbox in the coming weeks. If you are unable to attend one of our fun events, we hope you will visit us in the expo to play a round of cornhole or ring toss with us at our booth.

The 2024 ICCFA Convention will take place at the stunning Tampa Convention Center which is located at the mouth of the Hillborough River, boasting impressive views of both the waterfront and the city skyline. The convention center is located in the heart of the vibrant Water street area of the city which offers a diverse mix of entertainment, dining and cultural experiences. We hope your trip to the ICCFA includes some extra time to explore everything this beautiful waterfront city has to offer. Below are a few destinations we think you’ll enjoy.
1. Take a stroll along the famed Tampa Riverwalk
Just a few steps outside of the Tampa Convention Center, you’ll have access to the scenic pedestrian pathway that runs along the Hillsborough River for approximately 2.5 miles. One of the best ways to experience Tampa Bay and all of its scenic charms is to head out on the water. From sunset dinner cruises to dolphin sightseeing excursions to party tiki bar boats, there are so many different ways to experience the harbor. You can find a boating excursion for every time of day and for every crowd. You’ll have your choice between catamarans, pontoon boats, pirate water taxi, sail boats, yachts or speedboats. Those looking for a more of a workout can rent a CycleBoat or Kayak. The options are truly as plentiful as fish in the sea!
6. Explore artistic wonders and cultural treasures at the Tampa Museum of Art
Just a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk away from the convention, the impressive Tampa Museum of Art boasts an extensive collection of both modern and contemporary art, as well as rotating exhibits. The museum is known for its vast array of Greek and Roman antiquities, one of the largest in the United States. The building’s sleep and modern design, with its striking use of glass and steel, is a work of art itself.
