Congratulations Outstanding Service Award Winners!

Each week, ASD recognizes four employees with an “Outstanding Service Award.” This special recognition is given to the ASD Staff who exhibit the sensitivity and attention to detail that set ASD apart from other answering services. Here are some recent “Outstanding Service Award” winners:

â–ºCall Specialist, Kim, determined that a caller who was upset over an issue at a cemetery was actually calling to set up arrangements with the funeral home

â–ºSupervisor, Anne, calmly defused an upset caller who was afraid that animals cremains would get mixed in with human cremains.

â–ºTraining Specialist, Courtney, saved a First Call for a client by a convincing a caller who initially wanted to call later to leave her contact information. The call turned out to be a business opportunity for the funeral home.

â–ºAssistant Supervisor, Stephanie, patiently handled a call from an irate caller who was furious about a cosmetology charge on her funeral bill.

ASD Mobile 2.0 is a Hit!

Within 24 hours of launching the enhanced version of our powerful iPhone application, ASD Mobile 2.0 was downloaded by hundres of funeral professionals. ASD Mobile is now up to 25 Five-Star Ratings! Here is one of our favorites:

“This is by far the best app on my iPhone. It’s so much more convenient than listening and writing down a First Call or a message. Thank you ASD!“-Charlie Rimmel, Henry Funeral Home in Staunton, VA.

Many of our clients who are Android users shared with us on our Facebook page their excitement for our upcoming Android app, which will duplicate the functionality of ASD Mobile 2.0 for the Android platform. We have started a list of clients that would like to be notified when the Android app is available. If you would like to be on our “Android App” list, leave a comment on this blog with your funeral home name and we’ll add you.
