A Special Christmas Message from ASD

Dec 19, 2012

As we at ASD celebrate Christmas, we wish you and your families the same joy and happiness that we experience this time of year. We understand that you work around the clock and aren’t able to take pause as often as others. Our company believes funeral directors should be acknowledged for their dedication everyday and especially around the holidays. We realize that the time you have with your family is often cut short so that you can assist others in their time of need.

This clever e-Card created by funeralOne says it best: Funeral Directors extend themselves more to their profession than all of Santa’s elves combined. That’s why planning in advance for holidays is critical for our company. We want our clients to worry about one less thing during those rare days off.

Christmas, New Years Day and the entire holiday season is fully staffed with back up support to ensure that you enjoy those days knowing that your phone lines will be protected. Every major holiday, ASD creates a Holiday schedule that includes all of our employees. While our call specialists work shorter shifts, scheduling all of our operators increases the overlap of employees to guarantee the office is never short staffed. It also aligns with ASD’s all-hands-on-deck approach of the office working as a collective whole to ensure the highest quality of service for our directors.

In 2011, ASD sensitively handled 2,837 First Calls during the Christmas weekend while answering 91 percent of all inbound calls on the first ring. We understand that holidays may impact how you respond to your messages. Our custom-built systems allow us to customize your account based on your needs any time, day or night. So, if you’re going away for the week we can create a temporary call list until you return. If you’re not able to respond to general inquires, we can tailor your account’s contact criteria so you will only be notified if someone passes or if there is an emergency.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to help make the holidays brighter for you and your family. Our supervisors are available 24/7 to make any changes or updates.

From everyone here at ASD, we extend to you our best wishes for a joyous holiday season and prosperous New Year!
