NFDA Preview
We are packing up and getting ready to head out to Charlotte for the NFDA’s Convention and Expo next week! We are looking so forward to spending time with our clients and friends and seeing what fantastic funeral products are on display this year. The excitement begins at 10 a.m. on Monday morning at the Opening General Session when the NFDA will announce the winner of the 2012 Innovation Award. Our revolutionary Smartphone application, ASD Mobile, is one of the five finalists selected by the NFDA Judging Panel. We will be performing LIVE demos of ASD Mobile at our booth throughout the convention on both iPhone and Android devices.
For the first time, ASD will be offering an exclusive referral bonus at the NFDA convention. Bring a funeral director who is not using ASD to our booth and if he or she signs up at the show, you and the other director both win a Free 40 inch LCD display TV. Thank you to all of the funeral directors that stopped by our booth at the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association Convention. The ASD Team had a blast and enjoyed catching up with our clients and friends. Congratulations to Vincent Badalis of Leonard-Lee Funeral Home and Tom Givnish of Givnish Life Celebration Funeral Homes, winners of the 40 inch LCD Display TVs we raffled off at the show. We also hope that Susan Giragosian of Giragosian Funeral Home and Jason Oszczakiewicz of Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home are enjoying their new bamboo keyboards!
“Sensitive Save of the Week” Winner
“Sensitive Save of the Week” WinnerThis week, our Bilingual Call Specialist Susanna handled a call from a woman whose sister was close to passing away. She was looking for pricing and other information in order to make pre-plans. The caller didn’t think her questions were important and wanted to call back the next day. Susanna explained to the caller that she knew the director would want to take her call and offered to immediately patch her through to the on-call. The caller was surprised someone would be able to help her after hours and agreed to remain on the line so the director could assist her. Before patching her to the director, the caller thanked Susanna for her reassurances. Susanna is this week’s “Sensitive Save of the Week” winner!
