Funeral Home Name: Bradley & Stow Funeral Home
Location: Medford, NJ
Photo Description: Funeral Director and Pilot, David Stow, poses with his Piper Cherokee 235 plane.
Favorite ASD Feature: The ASD Mobile App for his iPad.
Favorite Pastime: When David is not working at the funeral home or attending an event at one of the many organizations he belongs to, he loves to fly! In October 2007, David took his first discovery flight and has been hooked ever since. Now the owner of a Piper Cherokee 235, David and his wife often fly down to visit his father and daughter who live in Virginia.
A quick trip to the shore allows David and his wife to make a 2 hour drive in just 50 minutes, have dinner and then fly home. The hobby also comes in handy occasionally with business trips cutting long days in half. David has continued his flight training and now also has his Instrument rating and is working on his Commercial rating.
“Since opening the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home in Medford, NJ in 2001, time has become a precious commodity,” David says. “Flying not only challenges me mentally but also allows for short trips to places that would normally be very long drives.”
Thank you to David Stow for sending ASD these photos and allowing us to feature you in our blog this month.
