Favorite Pastime: Jeff is a Firefighter and a Pump Operator for the St. Albans City Fire Department. He has been with the department for 22 years. Firefighting has been a tradition in the Levesque family for three generations. Jeff is following in the footsteps his grandfather, Deputy Chief Gordon Luman, and his father, Call Firefighter/EMT, Raymond Levesque.
“Being a member of the Fire Department is so rewarding to me, because I have the opportunity to help someone save their possessions, and memories,” Jeff says. “I can say it is very similar to the funeral service, because you get a chance to help someone in possibly the worst time of their lives. Whether it is trying to save a home, save a life, or comfort when a life has been lost, it is a very rewarding feeling knowing you have taken part in that.”
