As we get closer to the upcoming NFDA Convention in Nashville, ASD wanted to share what we have in store for funeral professionals who visit our booth. We are proud to be an official sponsor of the largest funeral home expo in the world. The NFDA convention is without a doubt the highlight of our year. This year, you’ll find 3 things at ASD’s booth that you won’t see anywhere else at the convention.
1. LIVE DEMO of ASD Mobile 3.0 for iPhone and iOS Devices
Funeral professionals visiting our booth can see a LIVE DEMO of the newly enhanced ASD Mobile 3.0 app. Learn how to use ASD Mobile 3.0 to download and print first call forms, set a detailed on-call schedule, intercept a Live Chat session in progress from your website, block solicitors and more. We’re especially excited to debut our new, patent-pending Mobile FH® feature that allows you to display the funeral home’s phone number as your caller ID when dialing from your cell phone.
2. Gurt, A Grief-Therapy Dog
Funeral Director, ASD Client and Funeral Pro Chat guest, Debra Fry, will be joining us in our booth this year with her Bermese Mountain Dog, Gurt. Gurt is a grief-therapy trained dog that provides comfort to bereaved families who are served by the Fry Funeral Home. Debra will answer questions about the benefits of therapy dogs and how funeral directors can get involved with this work. She will also provide her insights to directors considering our service about how ASD can meet the needs of their funeral home.
3. The One and Only ASD Lego Cemetery Set
Back by popular demand, the ASD Lego Cemetery Set will return to the NFDA convention to give funeral directors another chance to win the coveted item. We will raffle off a free set each day of the convention, along with a free iPad Mini. Be sure to stop by our booth to enter our raffle drawing.
ASD’s NFDA Referral Special
Positive word of mouth is the greatest compliment any company can receive. We appreciate the loyalty of our clients who have recommended our service to their colleagues. That is why we will also be giving away a FREE ASD Mobile Powerbank to any funeral director who brings another director who is not using ASD to our booth.

NFDA Quick Tip
We know there are a lot of funeral professionals that rely on apps like ASD Mobile while they are on the go. This year, the NFDA has a developed their own mobile app specifically for attendees at this year’s convention. Using the new NFDA app, you can access a schedule of events, take notes during speaker sessions, explore the convention expo map and more. With so many great events planned for this year, the NFDA app will provide a helpful tool to keep up with all the activity in Nashville.
