ASD would like to extend a helping hand to our clients located in areas that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. We are trying to determine what funeral homes are in need of assistance. If your funeral home was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, please contact us at 800-868-9950 or email jess.fowler@myASD.com. We could help spread the word to others in our profession as well. Let us know what you need and how we can help.
We are in the process of reaching out to clients in the affected areas. So far, we are aware of several funeral homes that are in need of assistance. If you are looking to help, here is some important information:
John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals collecting blankets, bed sheets, towels and wash clothes at their funeral home in Staten Island. The funeral home is providing shelter to those in need at their Catering Facility and is in need of these items. Please send any assistance to:

A family in Tom’s River, NJ lost the first floor of their residence during Hurricane Sandy. Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, who employs the owner of the residence, is accepting donations on the family’s behalf. Please send gift cards to:

Riggs Funeral Home in Forked River, NJ asks that anyone looking to help those in his community to please donate to the Lacy United Methodist Church in Forked River. The church is providing shelter to those in need and could use towels, blankets, sheets as well as monetary donations. For a complete list of items needed, call 609-693-8522. Bedle Funeral Home in Matawan NJ is requesting cleaning supplies, such as clorox, dish soap and rubber gloves, be sent to their funeral home to be distributed to local shelters. Please send supplies to:
