ASD Feature Spotlight: First Call Report
Our First Call Report allows owners and managers to monitor all First Call activity handled by their on-call staff. After your on-call person receives a First Call, ASD will send complete details and a recording of the call to the owner's or manager's cell phone or email account. The First Call Report displays each step taken to reach your on-call staff and keeps clients on top of all business opportunities, even when others are on-call.

How many times in your career have you had to leave a meeting or a service to answer an urgent phone call? Introducing ASD Mobile: A Powerful New iPhone App that Saves Your Funeral Home Time & Money
With ASD Mobile, you can now use your iPhone to access messages, record obituary information, change your on-call status and more, all with the touch of a button! The app was created as a mobilized one-stop solution for clients to manage their ASD account. After several months of careful planning and testing, ASD Mobile went live on Monday, December 12th. You can now download the app at no cost on Apple's iPhone app store.
ASD Feature Spotlight: Smart Text
ASD has developed mobile solutions such as a Smart Text option for our clients who regularly use Smart Phones to provide you with more freedom to conduct business on the go. With the Smart Text feature, every time an ASD call specialist handles a “First Call” for your funeral home, the information will be text-messaged with a useful hyperlink. From your smart phone, you can click the hyperlink to open a webpage and read the message or listen to an audio recording of the call.
Going On Vacation? Planning a Holiday Party? We've Got You Covered!
Every major holiday, ASD creates a special schedule that includes all of our employees. While our call specialists work shorter shifts, scheduling all of our operators increases the overlap of employees to guarantee the office is never short staffed.
ASD Tests Quarterly Crisis Notification System
Every season, ASD transmits a quarterly message to test the functionality of the broadcast system and to verify that your funeral home’s emergency contact preferences are up-to-date.
